STANLEY, NC (Sept. 12) - Jonathan Jennings captured a hard fought Steele Rubber Products Limited Sportsman win Saturday night at East Lincoln Speedway.

    Jennings battled early leader Jason Ledford and then held back charges from point leader Ronnie White to score his second victory of the season. White took second with Blane Huffman third, George Anen fourth and Scott Freeman fifth.

    In the CV Products Renegade main event it was Stanley, NC's Chris Stowe collecting another feature win. Steve Newsome continued his strong efforts with a second place finish. Third through fifth went to Jimmy Heath, Steve Penwarden and Anthony Cable.

    Tony Pallidino drove to his eighth Advance Auto Parts Stock Four win. Pechi Fioraminti was second with Swain Morris third, Randy Powell fourth and Jamie Major fifth.

    The Bea's Gift Basket Rookie Four feature was won by Lincolnton, NC's Silas Reynolds. Dylan O'Daniel, Hank Keifer, Lee Oiler and Jeff Crump rounded out the top five.

    Gastonia, NC's Matt Stover dominated the Legends main event. Tampa FL's, Alex Kempf was second with Bill Gardner third, Robert Poole fourth and Kara Clarke captured fifth.

    Terry Peters rolled to his third consecutive Micro-Sprint feature win. Robert Clements, Darren Hasty, Frank Peters and Zig Zigler completed the top five.

    East Lincoln Speedway will be back in action this Saturday night September 19th with a full racing program. The Open Wheel Modifieds will take center stage as they will battle for the $1,000 to win main event in 'County Line Battle Round 2". Gates open at 5:00 with racing at 7:30 PM.
