STANLEY, NC – Mother Nature showed up late and stole the show on Saturday night at East Lincoln Speedway. Over 80 cars jammed the pit area only to have to load up early as a heavy rain shower hit the speedway around 8:00 PM.
The entire show including the 5th Annual Clash of the Clergy will be completed in full this Saturday night September 26th, as ELS concludes is regular season program.
Several point battles are going right down to the wire. In the CV Products Renegade division Tracy Tapley holds a 35 point lead over Michael Bennett. Kenny Willett holds a 53 point lead in the Bea’s Gift Basket Rookie Four division over 5-time feature winner Jeff Crump.
Falcon Smith holds a healthy advantage over Bill Gardner in the Raceceiver Legends division. Jamie Major leads Pechi Fiormantti by 97 points in the Advance Auto Parts Stock Four division.
Ronnie White has clinched the title in the Steele Rubber Products Limited Sportsman division. Danny Bohn’s first season on dirt netted him the Open Wheel Modified title. Robert Clements made the long town down from Wertz, VA pay off with the Micro-Sprint championship.
