STANLEY, NC (Sept. 26) – All day rains forced East Lincoln Speedway officials to cancel the final points event of the 2009 season Saturday night.

                This Wednesday night September 30^th ELS will host the Staley ‘Real Drivers Wear Pink’ event. Many NASCAR stars including; Ray Evernham, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, AJ Allmendinger, David Reuitmann and Erik Darnell will be on hand to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen Cure.

                Also on the card will be racing in the Steele Rubber Products Limited Sportsman, CV Products Renegade, Open Wheel Modifeds and Micro Sprints.

                Attendees that have rain checks from Sept. 19 can use them October 3^rd. This event will conclude the weekly racing at ELS for 2009. The 5^th Annual Clash of the Clergy and the $1,000 to Win Open Wheel Modified event will share top billing with a full racing program on tap.
