STANLEY, NC - The inaugural East Lincoln Speedway Safety and Marketing meeting will take place on Saturday January 9th at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC.
Two representatives from each team that competed at ELS in 2009 are invited. Among the speakers for the safety seminar are; Kris Van Gilder from ISP Seats, Chet Tobias from Simpson Racing Products, Jeff Smith from J&J Race Cars and Dan Breuer from Nascar Technical Institute. Speakers for the marketing seminar include East Lincoln Speedway's Clint Elkins and Bob Mack. Also speaking will be Cody Sommer from Wave Energy Drink and Wicked Race Gear, and Jimmy Schiltz from Dirtwrap and Icon Racewear. "I am excited to share my experience in motorsports marketing to the drivers and teams at ELS. In todays market it takes creative ideas and persistancy to achieve sponsorship" stated Cody Sommer.
"Our goal of the seminars is to help our racers be more educated on keeping themselves safe and also learning how to market their race teams in this tough economy," said East Lincoln Speedway Promoter Clint Elkins. "We have assembled a well educated panel for both seminars and we are looking forward to spending some time with our drivers and teams."
The safety seminar will be from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM. The marketing seminar will be from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM. NASCAR Technical Institute is located at 220 Byers Creek Rd in Mooresville, NC. Teams must RSVP. Contact clint@elspeedway.com to confirm.
