STANLEY, NC – East Lincoln Speedway is proud to release the 2010 racing schedule for the 3/8 mile clay oval.
The season will get under way Saturday Night April 3rd with the annual season opener. There will also be several special events throughout the season including the 6th Annual Dave Watts Memorial, the 3rd Annual Jeb Seagle Memorial and the return of the popular Hot Summer Nights.
“We are very excited to get the season started,” said East Lincoln Speedway’s Clint Elkins. “We had a great year in 09 and we are looking for even bigger things for this upcoming season.”
Weekly divisions will consist of the Steele Rubber Products Limited Sportsman, Bea’s Gift Baskets Stock Four, Micro Sprints, CV Products Renegades and Super Stock Four. The Open Wheel Modifieds and Legends cars will again alternate weeks in 2010.
The open practice and car show will start the season on Saturday March 20th. The details on those events will be announced later this week. Questions will be answered at clint@elspeedway.com
About The East Lincoln Speedway: The East Lincoln Speedway is a 3/8 mile red clay track located off Mariposa Road in Lincoln County, NC, just minutes from the Lake Norman area. It is owned by Ray Evernham and Bob Mack. The track typically operates from April through September and racing is held on Saturday evenings.
